About Lone Star

We founded Lone Star Defense & Arms for several reasons and most of all, we were not able to find what we were needing to protect ourselves and all those we care about. As with so many others with the same need, we asked others and sought information from television shows and the internet. As everyone knows who has sought advice and information, there’s a LOT of content and not all of it is appropriate for what most consumers need. We frequently had different friends and family members coming to us during this time, each asking questions or seeking advice on several different topics that we both researched. Many of which at one time, we also were asking these same type of questions:

Many of those we knew (including ourselves) were simply too embarrassed to ask questions at a traditional gun shop, big box sporting goods store or gun range – few places had the answers or even the time to answer them. More often than not, it is just pretty darn intimidating, especially when dealing with so many brands, options, calibers, sizes, etc. with just firearms alone and not to mention having to seek important knowledge from people who really don’t have our best intentions in mind or are just too pushy, rude, opinionated or intimidating with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove to everyone who walks up to their counter.

This experience led us to put together a place WE were looking for as a law-abiding family with important personal protection needs. A place where the staff will not laugh at or roll their eyes at you if don’t know how to operate a certain gun or if you just had a simple question to a complicated problem. Here at Lone Star Defense & Arms, we know how important it is to be treated with respect and have an employee actually listen TO you, rather than talk AT you and tell you what need or don’t need.

Again, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we can help you protect what’s important. We don’t only specialize in unique and exotic firearms or newest fad and trend on the market. Instead, we focus on offering you what is more important: PEACE OF MIND. During these very difficult and uncertain times, the only way to have peace of mind is to be prepared to handle any situation – at any time.

Whether you are buying directly from our shelves and/or amazing online gun store or we’re helping you with an FFL Transfer when you’ve purchased from another online seller –we want to be your trusted source for all your personal defense and sporting needs. Best of all, you and your family can do all that in a clean, safe environment that even has a comfy lounge area with classic piano jazz playing in the background so that you can kick back, relax, make new friends and learn from & bond with others during this important process. We are only interested and focused on one thing and that is the safety and protection of you and your family -We’ll save all the other stuff for other shops.

We are here to enrich, not get rich, therefore we are pledging 95% of our profits to be shared with direct contacts through our business, worthy local charities and organizations whose focus and passion is to help others who are in need. The world is a difficult place, and we sincerely want to leave it a little better than we found it and through the Fellowship program, you too, can help us help others.
